Happy October, YAC! 🎃 The leaves are falling, the nights are longer, and spooky season is in full swing. Even if you're not into haunted houses or scary movies, there's something magical about this time of year--the cozy vibes, seasonal treats, and a little bit of mystery. 👻

This month, there are so many ways to enjoy the season outside of YAC:

  • Come explore a local pumpkin patch or fall festival with friends.

  • Try making a spooky craft--lanterns, costumes, or even your own DIY (Do It Yourself) decorations.

  • Tell someone about a seasonal book or movie you've loved; sharing recommendation makes the season even more fun!

  • Bake a seasonal treat--cookies, pumpkin bread, or caramel apples--and enjoy the process!

  • Use this month to try a small daily habit, like journaling about what you're grateful for or the fun things you notice in October

  • Watch a cozy or spooky movie this month--you can make it a mini event with friends with snacks and blankets

  • Your creativity shine--decorate you space, make a playlist, or design a costume

  • Take a break from screens and enjoy something outdoors: a nature walk, a bike ride, or simply enjoy the fresh air

  • Favorite seasonal activities can be anything that makes you feel happy, cozy or excited about this time of year.

  • Movie nights are always better with people--or just for yourself, with your favorite snacks

Pay attention while reading this post... the bolded words in order spell out a fun secret for the next YAC meeting! 🎁
